  • Temporary traffic management issue, 29th April
Good morning, a system of traffic management utilising temporary traffic lights was set up at this location just before the weekend just gone, on r around Friday the 25th of April. There did not appear to be any obvious reason why lights were set up here and there were access consequences for the residents of the cul de sacs, Russell Field and Russell Ridge, with traffic queuing most of the time outside those two residential streets. The Shropshire Council 'interactive map' does not seem to feature said lights, and so on behalf of local residents I would be grateful if you could provide the reason why temporary lights were set up. They disappeared over the weekend by the way. Thank you.

  • Weeds growing in verges of Red Deer Road, Shrewsbury., 27th April
This has been reported before somebody came to look and nothing more happened. there is extensive weed growth at the junction of Red Deer Road and Bluebell Place. With no action taken, many of the weeds have gone to seed and others will follow. Not a good position for a town with a reputation for flower displays. This should have been dealt with weeks ago.
